If the person indicates an openness to hear the truth, you use a small, pocket-sized Bible (or New Testament). Instead of explaining the verses yourself, have the person read them aloud and explain what they mean.
Key passages typically include:

• Romans 3:23 — All have sinned.

• Romans 6:23 — The penalty for sin is death, but God offers eternal life.

• John 3:3 — You must be born again.

• John 14:6 — Jesus is the only way to the Father.

• Romans 10:9-10 — Confess Jesus as Lord and believe in His resurrection.

• Revelation 3:20 — Jesus stands at the door and knocks.

Rule of thumb: Never argue. If they misinterpret a passage, kindly ask them to read it again. The power is in God's Word, not your debating skills.
